The Great Barrier Reef is a refuge for thousands of species of corals, fish, and sea mammals alike. Many of the species that can be found there have recognized this massive reef as a haven, a safe place to live and settle, occasionally the mammals found themselves migrating for the purpose of having a baby in waters that are encoded into their evolution.
It is also a place of peace to all. Throughout the years there have been large and aggressive sharks that find themselves on this eastern coastal marine forest alongside mammals that would tend to be a lovely lunch and dinnertime meal for them. But alas, there has been very little of that. As long as they stay out of the way of their enemies and their enemies stay out of their way, then all would remain calm for all residents.
